Yah thines.. I agree with u bout d goalkeeper of the season.. Bt can’t blame anyone, coz obviously this line up r not chosen by some expert panel, sportswritters or football pundits.. Every1 has their own right to come out wt their own line up for Team of the season(ToS). Their selection r based on how they define the term ‘impressive’ in football (or jz chose whoever they like or close with la) .. In my own opinion n based on wat i saw, my conclusion for volgo league ToS 2008:
i agree wt the above line up except for the GK and defenders. Can’t judge a GK based on how many goals they conceded. The defenders should get the credit.. Dumin should fill in that spot. Blessed with good positioning, ball handling and reflex. Daniel would b the best option for me to fill in the slot of center back. I would say that he contributed massively to tongkat sakti, being one of the team that conceded the less this season.. Fullbacks? Tough one. But, if Maui is given a chance to play regularly from day 1, i’m sure he can squeeze himself in. The other contender would be Douglas.. Anyway, i praise Maui for proving the critics wrong this season (after he decided that he doesn’t want to be a GK, converting himself as a fullback)..

If a keeper is only judged based on spectacular saves, in that case why isn’t David James ever voted in the FIFA top 50 ?. He has made amazing n spectacular saves in his career. If u have watched different highlights of different keepers in the world including Buffon n Cassilas, James has made almost impossible saves compared to others. then why is he not recognized for those saves?

it’s about how the GK made spectacular saves..and not how many goals he conceeded..in fact..i think Dave was not put into test..because of Tongkat’s defenders do most of the job..
so..
i think Azim deserved to be the best GK in Volgo..
